Job description

The Lecturer will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in Computer Science & Engineering, conducting practical/laboratory sessions, supporting academic activities, and contributing to the overall development of the department.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct lectures, tutorials, and laboratory/practical classes as assigned.
  • Prepare course materials, lesson plans, lecture notes, assignments, and examination questions.
  • Evaluate students’ assignments, class performance, laboratory work, mid-term and final examinations.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and academic performance.
  • Provide academic guidance and consultation to students.
  • Conduct and supervise laboratory and project-based learning activities.
  • Participate in curriculum development, course coordination, and academic planning.
  • Assist in organizing seminars, workshops, conferences, and other departmental activities.
  • Engage in research activities and contribute to publications in relevant areas of CSE.
  • Participate in examination duties, admission-related activities, and departmental committees as assigned.
  • Maintain professional and ethical standards in teaching and academic activities.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Department Head/competent authority.

    • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) or a closely related field from a recognized university.
  • Strong academic background in relevant CSE subjects.
  • Good command of English and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to use modern teaching methods and relevant computer/software tools.
  • Research experience/publications will be considered an advantage.
